Welcome to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Graduate School blog. We will use this blog to highlight Graduate School news and events.
This is an exciting week for the Graduate School. On Saturday, May 16, 2009, we will host the annual Graduate School brunch honoring our graduates at Embassy Suites at 10 am. UAMS Commencement ceremonies will be held that afternoon at 3 pm in Barton Coliseum. This year we have 41 M.S. and 29 Ph.D. recipients graduating. Since the Graduate School was founded in 1943, 1184 M.S., 982 M.N.Sc. (this program was moved to the College of Nursing in 2007), and 432 Ph.D. degrees have been awarded.
Commencement was awesome ... those who didn't come this year should show up next year ...
