Graduate School brunch and commencement

Almost 300 people attended this year's Graduate School brunch on May 16, 2009 honoring the 2008-09 graduates. Special thanks to Pam McCullough, Pattie Hamilton, and Jackie McRoberts for planning such a wonderful event.

Two of our graduates,Dr. Lauren Blair and Michael Manley, spoke at the brunch. Dr. Blair received her Ph.D. from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program in Dr. Kevin Raney's laboratory. She is now a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University in the laboratory of Dr. Qin Yan. Mr. Manley received his M.N.Sc. degree and is the Director of Outreach for the UAMS Center for Distance Health.
