Looking back at 2009

A recent article published on the UAMS Web site highlights campus accomplishments during 2009 including the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award. The Graduate School also had a number of exciting accomplishments. Seventy students received M.S. or Ph.D. degrees at Commencement in May. Our graduate students received many regional and national awards to fund their travel and research. They also successfully published their research in a variety of journals. The Graduate School and Center for Diversity Affairs received funding from NIH for a new Initiative for Maximizing Student Diversity program. We are looking forward to another excellent year.
