Career Day for Biomedical Sciences to be held October 29, 2009

The 9th annual Career Day for Biomedical Sciences has been scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2009. This event is designed to provide information on careers that can be pursued after receiving a Ph.D. (and in some cases just a M.S.) degree in the biomedical sciences. Last year's program can be viewed at http://www.uams.edu/gradschool/students/careerday.asp. Previous articles written about the event can be found at the following links:

We will post this year's program and online registration mid to late August. Graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty are all invited. One component of Career Day is a Graduate School fair. The Graduate School offers M.S. and/or Ph.D. degrees in 18 different programs. Program representatives will be available to speak with undergraduate students at various times throughout the day.
